Childhood Dream

Just a small aside that I thought of and wanted to share. Last night I was walking through the main castle late at night. A lot of the lights were off and I was sort of wandering around Sophie's Lounge, which is a common area that is really big and nice (I'll try and take pictures and post them if I think about it). I was walking around and it reminded me a lot of the Newport Mansions. When I was younger and we went to visit all the mansions, I always wanted to jump over the ropes and climb into the beds or sit on the couches. So as I was walking through Sophie's I pictured where the rope would have been and then I realized that I was fulfilling that childhood fantasy of living in one of those huge mansions. I thought that was so cool and I started thinking about who used to live here and what these rooms used to be used for (I honestly have no clue who lived here or what they were used for but its fun to make up stories). Ok so I'm a total dork, but oh well, I live in a castle.
