So we got carded in Europe...??

I'll explain the title in a minute. So today was my first trip outside of Well. Blake, David Packman and I took a day trip to Venlo. We left the castle around noon and got on the bus which took about a half hour. (Most of this entry is just going to be pictures)

We got to Venlo and didn't really have anything to do. So we sort of just wandered around and went in random stores and took pictures.

We ended up sitting and eating at this outdoor cafe place (Well I didn't eat there because I am poor and wanted to save money). It was really confusing because there were about 5 restaurants that shared this one huge area with outdoor tables, so we weren't sure which one to go to. While at this cafe, the waiter for some reason thought we were German and it was not until we were paying the check that we cleared it up. He told us that our accents sounded German...He was sort of weird.

While eating we kept taking pictures of random people...

I'm not sure why this man had a shopping cart...

After walking around for a while we sat down at a bar to have a drink before we went back. After taking our order, the waitress left for about 30 seconds and then came back and was like "umm...how old are you guys?" And we told her we were all 19. She started to walk about and after taking one step she turned around and asked us for ID. So I guess the whole "The drinking age is 18 but no one ever cares..." thing is not really true...

We got back to the castle and went over to Sophie's to sit around and had a little sing along at the piano.
