I really could care less...I hate all of that stupid philosophical garbage. My Ethics class is all about that. It is just 4 hours of us sitting in a classroom and our professor standing there talking about a lot of unanswered questions that I really could not care less about. It is so difficult to stay awake...
After class I came back to my room to hang out a little and then went to dinner for a so so meal of spaghetti and fake meat sauce. Then Alicia and I took a little walk around the grounds of the castle and took some pictures (That is really the main reason for this blog entry. Unless you really liked my exciting story of how my day has been so far...)
Blake with the weird bird thing...We aren't really sure what it was.
The entrance to the main castle
The abandoned tower.
The back of the castle.
The tower.
We broke into the tower.

Creepy secret passageway

Old bridge

Anyone in there?

Border of algae in the outer moat.
Scaffolding outside my room

Crystal Clear
Ducks
I have no clue what that says

Entrance to the court yard
The cupboard under the stairs aka Hannah the RA's room
This is one of the bathrooms in the Main Castle...
Yes that's a fire place
The other side (Yes that's a full bathtub)
The window from the bathroom (Yes everyone from the courtyard can see in it)
Alicia, Kathryn and what used to be Alex's room (She is one of two people who have gone back home)

View from the window
Their hallway
The VB (Voorburcht) Lounge.
Other side
The Netherlands has the tallest average height in the world. Apparently the average man is 6ft...
That is why ALL the urinals are SOOOO high up. I almost have to go on my tippy toes to use it.
Hallway outside our room. If I am talking to you online I am probably sitting out there.
Window in the hallway
Shower
Hallway in the VB. It looks really creepy here but its not that bad.
I am sitting in the VB lounge right now and we are trying to get the TV to work so we can watch Dutch television, but it won't work. It is really frustrating. Oh well, I live in a castle.

If a tree falls in the middle of the woods when no one is around, does it make a noise??

I'm from Holland...Where F***K you from?
I would like to start off this entry with a video. My friends Lily, Michelle and Caroline all went to Amsterdam this past weekend. While they were there they went to this club where they heard this song. When they came back they made sure to show everyone here the song. (Warning: Has some adult language in it)
I think this may have been the longest I have gone without a blog since I have gotten here. School work is starting to pile up and everyone is getting stressed out. I think that one of the major things that I will walk away from this trip with, will be a good sense of time management (Was that a coherent sentence? I just woke up and still am not fully awake). Anyway...
After our trip to Venlo on Saturday, we were going to go to Nijmegen on Sunday but we decided that we had too much work to do so we just stayed at the Castle. That was such a good decision. Sunday was one of the most perfect days. The sky was bright blue, the temperature was perfect. You could wear a T-Shirt and jeans and be perfectly fine. Blake and I ended up sitting on a blanket outside for a few hours and just reading and doing work.
After a wonderful day on Sunday, I had a horrible day yesterday. First of all it is the day when I have my 6 hour acting class. We needed to prepare a scene with a partner. I did mine with my friend Tory. We didn't pick a scene until maybe Wednesday or Thursday and then she went to Amsterdam Friday after class so we barely had any time to practice. Then a few hours before class she found out she was switching classes because our class had 14 and the other only had 6. But she still had to go to my class to do these scenes. We were the last ones to go, and I just completely froze up and forgot about half of the lines. It was really embarrassing. When class was over all I wanted to do was go to bed and forget about everything, but I still had to do some work for today. Luckily it only took maybe a half hour to do and then I went down the street to the Linden with Lily, Caroline, Michelle and Blake to just sort of unwind a little. PS to anyone reading this thinking that I had turned into an alcoholic since I have come to Europe, you are wrong. Whenever I say I go to a bar, I usually only have one drink and sometimes none at all. The other night I was that guy drinking a 7up in a bar.
I woke up this morning and it is pouring rain. I have to go to my ethics class in a little more than an hour which I am really not looking forward to. Oh well, I live in a castle.
